Mocha 12 changes the module entry point used by the example's test runner, which breaks its Jest loader and pulls Node-only modules into Metro. This upgrades the example to Mocha 12 and loads its prebuilt browser runtime explicitly. The runner tests now exercise that runtime directly, and its exported instance has a TypeScript declaration.
The lockfile resolves Mocha 12.0.3 for the mobile example. The separate macOS workspace retains its existing Mocha version, and the shared browser import works with both versions.
Depends on #429, which removes the workflow that force-pushed over Dependabot PR updates. Merge the CI changes first, then merge this upgrade.
Reproduction
Open the example's test screen and run the database tests. The suite tree and passing or failing results should update as the run progresses. The runner's eight tests pass with the real browser runtime, and production JavaScript bundles build for iOS, Android, and macOS.
