WalkthroughNim now supports JavaScript, C, and C++ targets. Compiler metadata can be static or resolved from the current configuration. The documentation describes target settings and backend differences. ChangesNim targets and compiler metadata

- Line 1: Format the Nim language spec using the repository’s Prettier
configuration so it passes lint:prettier and the normal test workflow.
Review comments at @src/livecodes/result/result-page.ts:
- Around line 449-450: Resolve the function-valued scriptType before applying
the existing fallback precedence, so an undefined result does not block
config.customSettings.scriptType or isModuleScript(script) from selecting the
module script type.

Important
CI is currently red: prettier --check rejects the new Nim spec, and npm run test runs lint:prettier. Two smaller behavior regressions in the new config-aware scriptType/compiledCodeLanguage paths are noted inline.
Reviewed changes
- Nim targets —
lang-nim.tsnow selectsjs/c/cppfromcustomSettings.nim.target, caches onenimWasmcompiler per target, and emitsc/cppoutput through the existing Clang runtime. - Config-aware compiler metadata —
Compiler.scriptTypeandcompiledCodeLanguagecan now be functions of the config;core.ts,deploy.ts,export/utils.tsandresult-page.tswere updated to resolve them. - Dependency bump —
@live-codes/nim-wasm0.4.0 → 0.5.0, which provides thec/cpptargets andemit: 'single'. - Docs and tests —
nim.mdxdocuments backends/custom settings; a new spec covers target selection, scripts, and the per-target compiler cache.
I verified against the published @live-codes/nim-wasm@0.5.0 README that emit: 'single' is the intended amalgamated output for LiveCodes' C/C++ languages, that the assets/nim/ paths still exist, and that clang-wasm 0.3.0 handles both text/c-wasm and text/cpp-wasm. The Nim specs pass and typecheck:app is clean.
