ESoCC: Implement Review Community Library Submission Side Panel #5301
We will now implement the side panel that admin users will use to review the metadata of community channel submissions, approve or reject a given submission, leave feedback for the editor, and store internal notes.
Technical requirements
Description
Design specs
The side panel will be open when we click on the Community status chip of a given channel. If the status is other than PENDING, the side panel should be open in read-only mode.
The modal will display the countries, languages, licenses, categories, status, and submission notes of a given submission. And will let the user change the status, save the editor's notes, and personal notes. The user can only submit this modal if the status is set to 'approved' or 'flag for review'.
When the change status value is set to Flag for review, we will show a KSelect with a set of reasons, and the editor's notes will be required.
This is the list of reasons why a submission could be flagged for review
After the request has been made, a snackbar is shown with the message: "Submission approved" or "Submission flagged for review".
Notes:
We will be building this new functionality within the administration frontend module.
For now, the side panel will only be shown on the admin Channels page, but it may be rendered on top of other pages too. So, it should be decoupled of the page.
To display this side panel, we should use the SidePanelModal component.
Any invalid/loading state will disable the Submit button.
