Summary

Publishes the v2026.10.7-alpha ingest benchmark:

  • Setup: Fanout on a Hetzner Cloud ccx33 (8 dedicated vCPUs, 32 GB RAM), with telemetrygen on a separate ccx33.
  • Run: three publish-sweep repetitions, then five minutes of mixed load.
  • Result: 422,408 mixed OpenTelemetry items/s sustained (51,358 spans, 184,883 log records and 186,178 metric points per second).
  • Gates: every gate passed.

Changes:

  • Landing benchmark:
    • the sustained result and its composition bar;
    • a mixed sweep chart showing the median, the min-max band across repetitions, the sustained point and the region where the generator ran at 7 or more cores;
    • median-peak tiles with ranges;
    • gate chips and evidence links.
  • Performance page:
    • setup and method;
    • the sustained composition;
    • median peaks with ranges, Fanout CPU and generator CPU;
    • the full mixed sweep table;
    • small-multiple sweep charts for traces, logs, metrics and mixed;
    • evidence and reproduction steps.
  • Shared data: site/src/data/benchmark.ts, derived from the run's report.json, feeds both chart components.
  • Links: the README, home page and capability status point to the result and to the raw evidence in fanout-bench (docs: publish the v2026.10.7-alpha 8-vCPU results fanout-bench#5).

Test plan

  • just check, including the site build and the table, social-card and canonical checks
  • Rendered review of the landing section and performance page at 1280 px and 390 px, in light and dark themes

On a Hetzner Cloud ccx33 (8 dedicated vCPUs, 32 GB RAM), with
telemetrygen on a separate ccx33, Fanout v2026.10.7-alpha accepted
422,408 mixed OpenTelemetry items/s for five minutes: 51,358 spans,
184,883 log records and 186,178 metric points per second. Every gate
passed.

- The landing page shows the sustained result with its composition, a
  mixed sweep chart (median, min-max band across three repetitions, the
  sustained point and the generator-limited region) and median-peak
  tiles for each workload.
- The performance page gives setup, method, sustained composition,
  median peaks with ranges and CPU, the full mixed sweep, small-multiple
  sweep charts, evidence links and reproduction steps.
- One shared data module, derived from the run's report, feeds both
  components.
- README, the home page and the capability status point to the
  published result and its raw evidence in fanout-bench.
