Desktop app: a link definition line in a user turn is hidden #1891
A user's chat turn hides a line shaped like a markdown link reference definition when it starts a paragraph, so the message does not show as typed:
just an experiment
[1]: https://example.com
renders only "just an experiment". The same line as the whole message renders an empty turn. A definition line that continues a paragraph is shown as typed
Markdig's ParagraphBlockParser consumes reference definitions when it closes a paragraph, with no option to turn that off, so leaving parsers out of the user-turn pipeline (ChatPipeline.Prompt, #1818) cannot stop it. User turns do not render [text][1] references either, so the definition is hidden for nothing. The behaviour predates #1818, since user turns started rendering as markdown
Fix shape: a paragraph parser for the prompt pipeline that keeps definition-shaped lines as text, or a pass that turns consumed definitions back into paragraph text
