• A null chord in BindChord/ExecuteChord/FindCommandByChord returns false/null with no active profile but throws ArgumentNullException once a profile exists

  bug

• JsonSerializer.Serialize(profile) throws "Collection was modified" while another thread changes bindings: STJ reads the live Chords dictionary without the lock

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#229 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Nov 6, 2026

• Deserializing a Command with a missing or blank Id/Name throws ArgumentException instead of JsonException, unlike Chord, Phrase and Profile

  bug

• A Chord's hash code changes with the thread's culture, so a HashSet<Chord> or Dictionary<Chord, …> stops finding "Ctrl+T+Z" under et-EE

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#225 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Nov 6, 2026

• ImGui key names aren't canonicalized: LeftCtrl+Key1 shows as Ctrl+KEY1 and ModCtrl+S as MODCTRL+S, so neither equals Ctrl+1 / Ctrl+S

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#224 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Nov 5, 2026

• ExecuteChord says it "executes a command" but runs nothing, and the library has no way to attach a handler to a command

• The context-menu key from ImGui, Silk.NET, GLFW and SDL ("Menu") is read as Alt, so Shift+Menu is stored as Alt+Shift and clashes with Alt bindings

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#222 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Nov 5, 2026

• Every SaveAsync resets profiles.json, commands.json and active-profile.json to 0644 and replaces symlinked data files with regular ones

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#221 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Nov 5, 2026

• Letter and digit keys named the browser KeyboardEvent.code / Silk.NET way aren't canonicalized: ControlLeft+KeyS shows as Ctrl+KEYS and never equals Ctrl+S

• A repository given a relative directory saves to a different folder after the current directory changes, and its lock then guards a folder it no longer writes

• Profiles deleted and commands unregistered through IKeybindingManagerFactory.CreateManager() come back after SaveAsync + restart

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#202 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Oct 29, 2026

• SaveAsync rewrites profiles.json once per profile: 100 profiles take 5 s, and a crash midway leaves a half-saved set

  enhancement
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#199 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Oct 29, 2026

• Concurrent saves still lose profiles when two repositories spell the same directory differently ("data" vs "data/", or a different letter case on Windows/macOS): a gap in the #148 fix

  bug
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#194 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Oct 29, 2026

• User rebinds and unbinds are undone on every launch: the documented startup re-applies app defaults over stored bindings, and there is no defaults layer or "unbound" marker

  enhancement
  ktsu-dev/Keybinding#175 · Filter by author matt-edmondson opened on Oct 7, 2026

• Renamed or recategorised commands keep their old stored metadata after a restart, and commands removed from the app still execute from old bindings

• Semantic string types declare Validate* format rules that are never enforced and contradict what the library actually accepts

• KeybindingConfiguration's AutoSave, AutoSaveIntervalMilliseconds and DefaultProfileId/Name have no effect: nothing in the library reads IKeybindingConfiguration

• Multi-chord phrases (e.g. "Ctrl+K, Ctrl+C") can be parsed but never bound, looked up or executed
