Make coverage work from a fresh checkout and align fixture handling and CI with the other jsdom projects.

Run pretest before coverage so the command works without previously downloaded fixtures. Use c8 for both text and HTML reports, remove the duplicate Node.js coverage report, and exclude generated coverage files from linting.

Check HTTP status before saving fixtures, create the destination directory instead of retaining a placeholder, and use the canonical web-platform-tests repository URL.

Declare the CommonJS package type and lint .mjs files with Node.js globals that exclude CommonJS-only bindings. Align ESLint configuration structure, npm script ordering, Git ignore patterns, and LF line endings with the other jsdom projects.

Use ci.yml with the CI workflow name, multiline YAML lists, consistent job and step names, and read-only repository permissions. Enforce dependency engines in workflow installations and explicitly test Node.js 26.0.0 alongside the existing minimum versions.

Update dependencies, including ESLint config 6.1.0, and regenerate the lockfile.
