Summary

Adds a weekly skill review. A local script measures which skills actually ran and whether new findings reached the user's wiki. A /skill-review step then proposes which skills to keep, merge, promote or retire. The user approves every change.

What changed

  • skills/skill-review/: skill_review.py with config, measure, nudge and reviewed subcommands, and the review procedure in SKILL.md.
    • A skill counts as used only for a real Skill call or a typed /name, not for a name in text.
    • Skills are grouped by stage: project, trial, proven, linked, command, framework and plugin. Claude Code built-ins are left out.
    • "Missed wiki" counts sessions that saved a lesson but wrote no wiki page.
  • hooks/skill-review-nudge.sh (SessionStart): starts a background measurement every 7 days and points to an unreviewed report at most once per day. It exits 0 every time.
  • Per-user wiki folder in ~/.claude/agentic-config.json. Users set it through the installer prompt, --wiki-dir=PATH or the config command. Plugin installs get a nudge until the folder is set. A reinstall keeps the file.
  • AGENTIC.md: a new "Wiki and Skills" section.
  • Install wiring: install.sh, uninstall.sh, plugin.json and README.md.

Verification

  • verify.sh passes, with 3 new checks that run the script on a synthetic Claude home.
  • With skill counting disabled on purpose, the measure check fails. It passes again after the restore.
  • A run on real local sessions took about 4 s for 30 days (about 350 transcripts).
  • The hook was run three times. The first call started the measurement, the second pointed to the report, and the third stayed silent on the same day.
  • The plugin-mode hook path has not been tested live.

Add the skill-review skill and a SessionStart nudge hook. Every 7 days the
hook starts a local measurement in the background. The script reads the
Claude Code transcripts on this machine and counts skills that actually ran
(a Skill tool call or a typed /name, not a name in text), grouped by stage:
project, trial, proven, linked, command, framework, plugin. It also counts
wiki pages written and sessions that saved a lesson but wrote no page.

The report goes into the user's wiki folder. Each user sets that folder in
~/.claude/agentic-config.json through the installer prompt, --wiki-dir, or
the script's config command. A reinstall keeps it.

/skill-review sorts skills into keep, merge, promote, or retire. The user
approves each change, and retired skills move to ~/.claude/skills/.trash/.

AGENTIC.md gains a "Wiki and Skills" section. verify.sh gains three checks
that run the script on a synthetic Claude home.
