Summary

Replace the stale g01.018 reference in the live roadmap frontier with task-free sequencing intent. Preserve the measured legibility history and leave product scope unchanged.

Validation

  • audit-currentness: status ok, no violations
  • Lifecycle projection verification: status ok, no problems
  • effigy qa: passed
  • git diff --check: passed

g01.019 — Repair lifecycle currentness — independent review

Verdict: ready_to_merge. No blocking findings.

Reviewed exact head dbb0a31e4007b7c9aa867c82920be173cd63a5f5 (PR #21, non-draft, base main) against 15e82d7218e7b261a2473b5af77ec48b42cb5ce4 (planning commit / origin-main). Reviewer model deepseek-flash; author model gpt-6-luna; no worker transcript was read.

Scope

  • Diff is a single file: docs/roadmaps/g01/README.md, +3/-1. No product code, no Rust/TS, no task renumbering or renaming, no queue/generation settings, no other repository planning.
  • Change sits entirely within the paths the audit reported plus the owned task card/handoff.

Acceptance evidence

  • Audit finding reproduces at base, clears at head. Running lifecycle-core.ts audit-currentness against a read-only copy of the base tree returns exactly the recorded finding: {file: docs/roadmaps/g01/README.md, section: Next Task, task: g01.018, reason: stale-frontier}. At the reviewed head the same audit returns {"status":"ok","violations":[]}.
  • Lifecycle projection verify: {"status":"ok","problems":[],"record_count":14} — no projection drift.
  • effigy qa: exit 0 (docs paths/links/index/forbidden/contains/headings all pass; unit, component and sanitization suites 0 fail; release-automation verified). The 3 svelte-check warnings are pre-existing and unrelated to a docs-only diff.
  • git diff --check: clean. Worktree: clean at head. PR head: dbb0a31 matches the expected head. Release gate CI: pass.

Change quality

  • The only audited terminal-task reference (g01.018) is removed and replaced with task-free prose ("That lane covers…"), preserving the measured-contrast history and the release-authority sentence unchanged.
  • A task-free sequencing sentence is added ("After this currentness repair closes, return to the existing product frontier. No product successor is named here."), matching the task card's own Next task intent.
  • No Status: header lines were added; the audit confirms no duplicate status header and no terminal task ID remains in a live-currentness section or Next-task table column.

Non-blocking observations (no action required for this repair)

  • The Next Task section still frames the palette lane as an open lane ("One lane remains open. That lane covers…") while g01.018 is terminal. The task's Decisions explicitly forbid semantic rewriting and require preserving history, and the audit's criterion is ID-based, so this is in-scope-preserving rather than a defect introduced here.
  • Roadmap Sequence item 18 still reads ready for the terminal g01.018, and item 19 is ready. Pre-existing, outside the one audited finding, and explicitly excluded from the repair boundary; not a blocker.

Boundary / oracle check

  • Every change outside the task and handoff is the one listed mechanical repair; surrounding semantic prose is intact.
  • No product or unrelated planning change; no renumbering; no migration; no release or hook action taken by the worker.
  • Exact-head independent review confirms the diff matches the stated repair scope.
