What changed

With the Auto theme, heatmap fell back to its dark ramp. On a light terminal that made the quietest days the darkest, so they looked boldest.

  • New rampFor(theme): dark… and light… themes keep their ramps; Auto or an unreadable theme gets an auto ramp
  • The auto ramp keeps one lightness (contrast about 3.8:1 on white, 4.4:1 on dark) and only raises saturation, from near gray to full orange, so busier reads busier on any background. Square size still separates the two halves
  • heatmap 0.1.1 (plugin.json, marketplace, site page); docs and spec updated

Checklist

  • claude plugin validate mods/heatmap passes
  • claude plugin test mods/heatmap passes (28 tests)
  • Changed a mod: version bumped in its plugin.json and in .claude-plugin/marketplace.json

With the Auto theme the background is unknown, and the dark ramp made quiet days look boldest on a light terminal. Auto and unreadable themes now get one ramp at a single lightness where only the color strengthens, so busier reads busier on both.

Reviews: Sonnet found no correctness issues (28 tests pass, versions consistent, auto ramp luminance 0.224 to 0.227 with saturation rising). Codex (gpt-5.6-luna, one pass) found no actionable issues. CI green.
