Why

To continue improving how agents work in this codebase.

What changes

A few clarifying pieces of documentation were added. I ran tests with sub-agents to ensure that the changes resulted in desired behavior. The added documentation was based on sessions and PR feedback from the past couple weeks across the team.

What changed in this PR

This documentation-only pull request improves guidance for agent-assisted development and review across Replica, covering Hub TypeScript organization, meaningful testing, design discussions, and stacked pull requests.

Changes:

  • Clarifies where Hub constants, schemas, types, and implementation details should live.
  • Expands guidance for meaningful success, failure, security, and data-loss test coverage.
  • Refines design-question responses and preserving agreed requirements.
  • Documents the expected GitHub stacked pull request workflow.

docs/documentation-conventions.md Clarifies design-question responses and maintaining agreed requirements. No comments.
CONTRIBUTING.md Documents the GitHub stacked pull request workflow. No comments.
