This plugin is maintained in Microsoft's typescript-skills repository. The submitted version includes a typescript-project-setup skill. More skills are coming soon in the next version:

typescript-update: upgrade projects to TypeScript 7.
typescript-strict: enable strict mode and resolve resulting errors.
typescript-esm: migrate from CommonJS to ESM.
typescript-publish-types: publish declarations that consumers can resolve.
typescript-build-references: configure project references and incremental builds.
typescript-build-project: build complex TypeScript projects.
typescript-project-validate: validate TypeScript projects.
dependency-security: identify and address dependency security issues.

These upcoming skills are not included in this issue's commit.
