AGENTS.md documents the OpenVox/Vox Pupuli toolchain rules, commands, repo conventions and hard-won gotchas for AI agents and new contributors: permanent data/ with vanilla distribution defaults only, fixture semantics, rubocop grandfathering, coverage requirements, and an ASCII-only rule (no em dashes or other non-ASCII characters, except multibyte test vectors under spec/). docs/ gains step by step playbooks for the two most common tasks in this repo: adding a new operating system release (including capturing vanilla defaults from the acceptance nodeset's container image) and removing an end of life platform.
