Summary

STAC collection identifiers may contain /, for example DOI-style IDs such as doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.912516. The current Flask routes use the default single-segment converter (<collection>), so collection, queryables, items, and item-detail requests return a framework 404 before reaching the API or repository.

This changes collection-bearing routes to use <path:collection> and makes the STAC item route use <path:item> as well.

Related issue: #1266

Validation

  • 159 passed in tests/unittests
  • 23 passed in focused WSGI and route regression tests
  • Existing idswithpaths functional test passed
  • Local pycsw_solr_metno integration passed: 240 passed, 30 skipped, 2 xfailed
  • Real DOI collection and items routes returned HTTP 200 through the patched Flask app and local Solr repository plugin

No API handler or repository plugin behavior was changed; this is limited to Flask route matching.
