Features

  • (deps) Data frame transforms are tracked (the query can focus on what takes part in a dependency)
  • (df) Ambient state (options, graphics devices, warn levels) is tracked through calls
  • (builtins) Models for model fits, plots, unique, sort, t, tapply and import::from
  • (linter) New rule that flags empty export patterns and missing exports
  • (reconstruct) Keeps blocks handed to calls
  • (ast) Reports the R version a given syntax construct needs
  • (playground) Shows download progress in cells and the REPL

Bug fixes

  • (normalize, df) Pipe placeholder _ is read and linked correctly
  • (df) do.call, local and UseMethod resolve like the calls they make
  • (normalize, args) Backticked names, params and args are kept whole
  • (r-bridge, repl) R string escapes are undone in strings, export patterns and REPL queries
  • (deps) Messages count as stderr, print and modelsummary as file writes, inline data as constant
  • (builtins) sink is no longer an unknown side effect and fread takes its input first
  • (linter) Unused definitions keep effects and dead code respects unforced stops
  • (linter) Exports that are read keep their imports and returned functions count as used
