As the title suggests, I would like to add drag-and-drop functionality to Flet between applications and the native system.

This is an extension that integrates desktop_drop. I haven't maintained it recently, so it may not work with the 0.8.x series.

I'm using version 0.80.0 and this extension works fine.

Under 0.82 the example app says "No flet-dropzone control" ...

hello !
for anyone who needs this on Flet 1.0.x: I got native file drops working with a small extension around desktop_drop, since flet-dropzone no longer seems to work on recent versions. its a FileDrop control that wraps any content and reports enter, leave and drop (with the list of file paths)

build script: https://github.com/Decryptu/pokeldn/blob/109cd83/scripts/build_client.py checks out Flet's source at the installed version, adds the extension to client/pubspec.yaml and main.dart, and runs flutter build. point FLET_VIEW_PATH at the result (it also works for flet pack)
its tested on macOS with Flet 1.0.2 and Flutter 3.44.8, and also builds for Windows and Linux. feel free to reuse it and to include it in a PR here too if u want, im totally ok with it

flet-dropzone works with flet 1.0 and later, but it requires a build once because it uses a 3rd-party Flutter library.
