The kernel-update workflow runs bot.py from the branch it runs on, on main's checkout; bot.py acts on the checkout it runs from. bot.py and kernel/test/ no longer trigger the kernel workflow: a new kernel-bot workflow runs the tests. The PR body goes in a file, kernel.org's answer is checked and retried, and the series comes from series.sh. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Moves the kernel-update workflow's check and PR steps from inline bash to
kernel/bot.py update-checkandupdate-pr. It's stdlib only and runs with the runner'spython3. It behaves the same, with versions compared as tuples instead ofsort -V, andgh's JSON parsed in Python.kernel/bot_test.pytests the version decisions, the PR body and its truncation, and which PRs get closed; a newkernel-botworkflow runs it.bot*.pyandkernel/test/no longer trigger the kernel workflow.
