Summary

  • refresh the evidence-backed comparison against current immutable snapshots of Career-Ops and AI Job Search
  • add JobOps as the closest reviewed graphical alternative and retain JobSync as an adjacent watch
  • use JobCtrl.dev as the search identity while keeping the product name JobCtrl
  • add a direct Apple-silicon early-tester path to the homepage and README
  • add a root IndexNow verification key for post-deployment URL notification
  • update docs regression coverage for the four-card desktop/mobile layout and current search metadata

Why

JobCtrl already has crawlable docs, a live demo, and strong product detail, but its name collides with an older workforce-management product and its public pages did not provide a focused tester conversion path. The comparison had also fallen behind material competitor changes and omitted JobOps, the closest reviewed web application.

Validation

  • node --test scripts/docs-launch-copy.test.mjs
  • corepack pnpm docs:build
  • corepack pnpm docs:check:runtime
  • git diff --check

Coordination

This change is version-neutral: it does not modify package versions, release tags, install pins, or release mechanics. Merge it after the separate public-version reset so that work can establish the new baseline first.
