Hi @easyw, this PR closes issue #274.
It was created with Claude Fable 5 with a single prompt line in the first iteration.
Footprints with 3d model path relative to the footprint are now being imported.
I did not check the code since the codebase is very complex.
If this is not good, the PR may at least give you a hint on how to improve KSU in this matter.
Sample simplified board on Kicad
KSU is importing the 3d models.
It works with symlinks, and without them, as expected.
