Note

Drafted by a LLM-based AI tool (Claude Code/Opus 5.5).

Summary

#121 merged with its design tokens pinned to unreleased. The tokens are now released as tokens/2026.3.0, so the pin names that tag.

The released dist/research/colors.json is byte-for-byte the vendored copy (sha256 ee043b0f…), so only the pin's tag changes. No colours change.

Validation

  • The released file's sha256 matches the pin.
  • uv run pytest src/python/tests/test_plot_design_tokens.py src/python/tests/test_plot_styles.py: 29 passed.

Bump the version, point the install instructions at v0.18.0 and add
upgrade notes for the design-token plot colours from #121 and #122.
