PGDG builds lag first-party releases. As of **2026-10-19**, its Debian 13 (`trixie-pgdg`) packages are the release candidate `1.0~RC1`, not 1.0, and a host that ran a release candidate can't be upgraded to 1.0 (see [1.0 release candidates](release-candidate.md)). Until PGDG ships `1.0-0`, run 1.0 on Debian 13 with [DocumentDB Local](../documentdb-local/index.md) or the [Kubernetes operator](../kubernetes-operator/index.md).
