Compare marketplace descriptions without TSV escape corruption #438

Problem

A description containing a literal backslash is identical in the plugin and both marketplace manifests, yet parity fails. The marketplace census serializes through TSV escaping while the plugin description is compared as decoded text.

Proposed direction

Compare decoded JSON field values using a complete retained inventory. Preserve literal backslashes and Unicode while retaining malformed-value rejection and producer failure checks.

Acceptance criteria

  • Identical visible descriptions containing backslashes validate.
  • Different descriptions still fail parity.
  • Unicode text and malformed/control-bearing values retain the current contract.
  • A failed or partial producer cannot produce a passing parity result.

Size: S. Part of #38.

Implemented by #443, now merged. Read back on main 2ca8f56: all 24 package-discovery regressions and complete package validation pass. The corresponding negative fixture refuses and valid consumer resources retain their identities and selections.
