Release the Zed extension fix from #19: registry still serves 1.0.5 built before it #20

Open

Description

@ReesMcD

Summary

#19 fixed the Zed extension building the rcl-lsp asset name from the full release tag. The fix hasn't been published, though: packages/zed/extension.toml is still at 1.0.5, and zed-industries/extensions still pins extensions/react-component-lens-lsp to 9a3c82df (2026-06-09), one commit before the fix (ec8cb30c). Everyone installing from the Zed registry gets the broken build.

Error (current registry build)

Language server rcl-lsp:

from extension "React Component Lens" version 1.0.5: no release asset found matching "rcl-lsp-react-component-lens(packages/vscode/package.json)@1.0.5-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz"

Requested

  1. Bump version in packages/zed/extension.toml (e.g. to 1.0.6).
  2. Open a PR to zed-industries/extensions that moves the submodule to a commit including ec8cb30c and updates the version in extensions.toml.

Environment

  • Zed on Windows, WSL remote (Linux x86_64)
  • Installed extension: 1.0.5 (wasm built 2026-06-09)

Workaround

Put the matching rcl-lsp binary from the GitHub release on PATH. The extension checks worktree.which("rcl-lsp") before downloading.
