What did you change, and why?
Add
UG_TRUST_OS_SETTINGS=1to skip OS-managed writes and stale-settings checks for externally maintained hosts, avoiding sudo prompts and UG conflict failures during Omnigent startup. UG still generates per-user settings; Claude/Codex apply native precedence. ExistingUG_SKIP_OS_SETTINGSbehavior is unchanged. How do you know it works?
743 passed, 1 skipped across managed-file, Claude, Codex, and integration-contract component tests on main. Ruff check, format check, and ty passed using the existing Python environment (uv dependency download was blocked by DNS). Covers standalone/combined switches, boolean parsing, continued user-config generation, and no managed writes/checks. Live Omnigent testing was not run.
