Crash when trying to set white balance from selected area #21736

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I checked and did not find my issue in the already reported ones

Describe the bug

White balance module : darktable crashes immediately when the picker (pipette) is selected ("Set white balance to detected from area") and the user clicks onto the image to create the selection.

Happens also with fresh install.

Steps to reproduce

  • Select any image in lighttable
  • Goto darkroom
  • Open White balance module
  • Select pipette ("Set white balance to detected from area")
  • Try to select an area -> crash

Expected behavior

not crash when trying to select an area
