Hi, I'm Dan 馃憢

Backend engineer. I build Go services that handle real-time traffic: gRPC APIs, Postgres, and WebSocket fan-out with Centrifugo. These days I'm also getting into Rust, and building tools on top of LLM agents.

Stack: Go 路 gRPC / grpc-gateway 路 PostgreSQL 路 Centrifugo 路 Kubernetes 路 GitLab CI 路 Rust (learning) 路 Python

馃敤 Currently building

  • CONFident: runtime configuration service. It stores config as a tree with per-environment values and symlinks. Each host runs a local LMDB replica, so services read config without network calls. Built in the spirit of OnlineConf.
  • life-as-game: gamified task tracker. It keeps everything in a single Markdown file and ships with a CLI, an Omarchy bar plugin, and an agent skill.
