What was done

Settings fix (applied directly): PATCHed repos/petry-projects/.github/check-suites/preferences to disable auto_trigger_checks for:

Claude app (app_id 1236702) → false
CodeRabbit app (app_id 347564) → false

This stops GitHub from auto-creating orphaned "queued" check suites on every push, which were permanently blocking auto-merge.

Documentation update: Updated the "Current Compliance Status" table in standards/github-settings.md to reflect the 2026-05-08 remediation date.

CI is running. Once green, @petry-projects/org-leads can merge.
