- **Linux** (x86_64): unzip and run `./HoppysAdventureArcade.x86_64`.

## Run it at a booth

Launch with `--booth` to run an unattended kiosk. Arguments go after `--`; for a macOS app, use `open -a … --args …`.

```sh
./HoppysAdventureArcade.x86_64 -- --booth
./HoppysAdventureArcade.x86_64 -- --booth --route=heroes_vs_villains
open -a "Hoppy’s Adventure Arcade.app" --args -- --booth --route=heroes_vs_villains
```

- **Fullscreen.** The game starts fullscreen without changing the saved settings.
- **Idle reset.** After 90 seconds with no keyboard, mouse, touch or controller input, any game returns to the hub, whose rotating previews act as the attract screen.
- **No quitting from the menu.** The menu's **Quit Game** does nothing in booth mode; staff close the window (Cmd+Q, Alt+F4).
- **Launch route.** `--route=<name>` opens a route at launch (`heroes_vs_villains`, `code_city_brawl`, `bay_area_blitz`, `orbital_ops`, `enchanted_repo`, `runner`, `platformer`, `beatem_up`, `hub`), with or without `--booth`. An unknown name logs an error and opens the hub.

## Booth mode: idle routes return to the hub, input keeps a game alive, the menu can't quit
## the kiosk, and --route=<name> picks a launch route. The startup flags are checked by launching
## the game as a child process, so _ready()'s own argument handling is covered.
## Run headless with --script res://tests/booth_mode.gd.

Add the booth suite to CI.

The PR notes that CI’s hand-written test list omits booth_mode.gd. Add this standalone script to that list so future changes run its booth and launch-route checks automatically.

As per path instructions, “Suggest focused regression coverage for changed behavior, not blanket coverage goals.”

Review comment at @hoppys-adventure-arcade/tests/booth_mode.gd at line 4:
Add the booth_mode.gd standalone test script to the existing hand-written CI
test list so its booth and launch-route checks run automatically; leave the
script’s test behavior unchanged.

Agreed that it should run in CI. #40 replaces the hand-written list with a runner that discovers every tests/**/*.gd, so this suite gets picked up with no list entry. Rather than add a line to an array #40 deletes, I'll update this branch from main after #40 merges. That also switches this suite's teardown to AudioService.settle(), which #40 introduces and its strict leak check expects, and confirms the suite passes in CI here before this merges. @coderabbitai does that plan work for you?

@esthor Yes, that plan works. There is no need to add an entry to the list that #40 will remove.

After #40 merges:

  • Update this branch from main.
  • Switch the suite’s teardown to AudioService.settle().
  • Confirm that CI discovers tests/booth_mode.gd and that the suite passes the strict leak check.

The finding remains open until those steps are complete.
