Labels are undefined with different zoom levels

After updating chart.js from 4.5.0 to 4.5.1, I face an issue when using the plugin.
The plugin is in the version 2.2.0.

Stacktrace:

After debugging, I pinpointed the issue to _labels being undefined (but only in resize with zoom != 100%)

We are facing the same issue, is there any solution or workaround available?

@agutierr78, what version of Chart.js are you using?

If you get errors with Chart.js 4.5.1 but not 4.5.0, then I suspect that you're running into chartjs/Chart.js#12143. That's been fixed (see chartjs/Chart.js#12142), and hopefully the Chart.js maintainers will release a new version containing the fix soon.

If it's a different issue (if you're able to reproduce the issue in 4.5.0), then, if you can create a reproducible example at https://codepen.io/leelenaleee/pen/WNyJXEe or similar, I can take a look.
