The historical v7/v8 summaries did not identify CM4AI v8 replicates 2 and 3 as a different observed thinking regime. Add the pinned generation caveat and distinguish saved generation dates, directory labels and the September 12 evaluator cohort in all three reports and their builders. The text preserves all original results and does not attribute score differences to thinking behavior.
The v8 report validator now recognizes HTTP(S) citations while retaining local-file and fragment checks. Its documented check is exercised in retained copies because it writes validation.json.
Validation: independent adversarial review; exact disclosure/source parity; original report bytes recoverable by removing the inserted paragraphs; all measurement tables and figure bytes unchanged; validator failure before the link fix and success after it. No generation, model judging or changes to statistical results.
Refs #4455, #4456. This PR targets Orion’s analysis branch; it does not import that branch into main.
