medium: Retain compiler binaries for previously supported platforms
The new TypeScript optionalDependencies list includes only Darwin, Linux arm/arm64/x64, and Windows packages. The previous beta also listed packages such as @typescript/typescript-linux-ppc64 and @typescript/typescript-freebsd-x64. The repository runs tsc -p tsconfig.build.json in its types and prepack scripts.
Failure: On Linux ppc64 or FreeBSD x64, a clean install no longer provides the native compiler binary. The declaration-generation step fails when tsc tries to resolve its platform package, blocking the type and packaging workflows before their later steps run.
Suggested fix: Keep the beta pin or select a compiler release that provides binaries for the previously supported platforms.
