Release 1.0.4: version bump and changelog (documentation only, code unchanged since 1.0.2) - #60

…ecorded for the new version Documentation only; src/ is the tree of 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 and the built files hash the same. The changelog's Unreleased entries become one 1.0.4 section. The Node, Bun and client correctness screens were run again so they record 1.0.4 (signatures unchanged); generated tables carry the new label; benchmarked.json is recorded for 1.0.4.
