Integrate the 2026-09-04 upstream batch while retaining CMD Riker capabilities. Draft pending native verification in #25.

Review and risk

106 incoming commits, 420 source files. Changes span web, desktop, mobile, providers, contracts, orchestration, auth, relay lifecycle, dependencies, native packaging, and inert workflows. No new migration.

  • Reviewed provider compaction, async questions, usage/reset-credit reads, PR discovery/settlement, pairing metadata redaction, and relay replacement connections.
  • Reviewed desktop cookie import source/profile allowlists, read-only SQLite snapshots, OS keychain consent, native dependency integrity and packaging. @napi-rs/keyring@1.3.0 and its native packages have no lifecycle scripts; pnpm build allowlist unchanged.
  • Reviewed mobile selection/gesture changes and source PR device evidence. Upstream device evidence is not integrated-fork validation. Native gaps remain in Complete Git and native verification for upstream 09d13de43 #25.
  • Reviewed web composer/timeline, preview ownership, settings navigation, shared settings and multi-environment limits.
  • Incoming webhook/release/Windows workflows remain inert. Actions stays disabled; no release identity or publication destination changed.

Conflicts and corrections

Four conflicts resolved:

  • CodexAdapter.test.ts: retained compactThread stub around fork formatting.
  • PullRequestService.ts: retained draft-PR metadata around fork formatting.
  • connection/supervisor.ts: retained scoped replacement/reconnect behavior; prior fork delta was formatting only.
  • rpc/client.ts: retained both Lead Agent and PR-refresh subscriptions.

Review corrections:

  • Preserve Codex reset-credit metadata when sparse live quota updates change usage; added regression test.
  • Refresh limits across every connected environment on web and mobile, report failures per environment, and update countdown/pace anchors on existing renders.
  • Add mocked hub refresh/removal/sanitized-failure coverage and settings secret persistence/redaction roundtrip coverage.

Capability delta

Lead Agent clients continue to send branded projectId only. Server resolves/canonicalizes the project path and lazily invokes the project-scoped Riker gateway. Dedicated authenticated RPCs, sanitized failures, bridge lifecycle and client state remain. No stock provider/model enum controls Riker Native Harness selection. Copilot remains available under CMD Riker Model Policy despite no stock T3 Copilot adapter.

Verification and merge decision

Committed integration: c38ca47049b8aa7e80ca43554f6f73a17408b1d4.
Verified tree: ebd14f9afa614aef66596c0f51f771162802fe07 (all 16,418 regular files and unchanged vendored gitlink matched the isolated checkout).

Credential-isolated WSL Ubuntu 22.04 execution: user/mount/PID namespaces, private root/chroot and proc, explicit empty environment, dedicated checkout/home/runtime. No host user homes, Windows mounts, GitHub credentials, provider sessions, or browser profiles. Official Node 24.13.1 hash verified; pnpm 11.10.0. Full corepack pnpm install --frozen-lockfile --force passed including allowed lifecycle scripts and node-pty compilation; no install-induced manifest/lockfile change.

  • PASS: eight scoped typechecks (contracts, server, web, desktop, mobile, client-runtime, shared, effect-codex-app-server).
  • PASS: mandatory Riker/shared-state baseline 28 tests; server Lead Agent 2 tests (153 excluded by name filter).
  • PASS: authored quota/source/settings regressions 40 tests. Original quota implementation fails the reset-credit regression; corrected implementation passes all five quota tests.
  • PASS: changed-area suites: client-runtime 450; contracts/shared 140; providers 643; orchestration 203; desktop 210; web 714; mobile 84; scripts 68. These separate runs overlap the focused reruns; counts are not additive.
  • PASS: formatting for all 373 changed TS/TSX files; lint 0 errors, 292 warnings; git diff --check.
  • BLOCKED: initial server-other batch 587 passed, 13 failed, 1 skipped. Permission/stat failure passes after dropping namespace DAC override capabilities. Remaining 12 Git cases require modern-Git validation: isolated Git 2.34.1 rejects git worktree list --porcelain -z (exit 129). Affected implementation/tests match frozen upstream; no workaround or weakened test introduced.
  • BLOCKED: correct vite-plus native Linux helper suite fails setup with pkg-config ENOENT; 10 tests skipped. libsecret development environment missing. macOS/keyring, Windows native browser import, iOS/Android builds/device behavior remain unverified on this integration.
  • BLOCKED: integrated client screenshots/video not captured; no browser/computer-use authorization. Source PR evidence is not fork validation.

Initial link-only installation, wrong mobile checker, wrong native runner and pre-fix server codec diagnostics were superseded by the full install and final correct runs above. Changed-area batches were run in the same isolated source checkout before the full lifecycle install; mandatory baselines, typechecks, authored regressions, lint and formatting were rerun afterward.

Keep this PR draft. #25 tracks unresolved verification. No merge or release authorized by these results; Actions remains disabled and publication is only to berghtho/t3code.
