Persisted desktop file tabs contain only a relative path; FilePanel reads that path with the currently selected workspace cwd. Open a file in workspace A, switch to workspace B containing a same-named relative path, and revisit the tab: it silently displays B's file under A's tab identity. Persist the owning workspace/cwd with each tab, or close/rebind tabs explicitly when the workspace changes.
