Draw hexagon tiles over the map

Hi, I'm looking for ways to draw a set of hexagons on the map. To be precise, I want to predefine the hexes to always match the same area on the map, in other words, cover the whole world map in hexes. Is this possible?

I'm working on a react-native mobile app, in which we want to achieve something similar to this (Drawing Hexagons): https://marketplace.ovr.ai/map/land/8c196526eb8e3ff
Can you please assist us with this?
As we are trying different solutions for more than a month now, and have not been able to achieve that final result.
