[C++] C++ Extra Meson build fails due to missing libxml2 for azure #50776
This seems to be related to the CMake 4.4 upgrade on conda but pinning CMake shouldn't be the solution in my opinion because CMake 4.4 works if used in isolation and without meson.
cmake 4.4.0 hc85cc9f_0 conda-forge
...
Run-time dependency azure-core-cpp found: NO (tried pkg-config and cmake)
...
Downloading azure source from ...
Executing subproject azure method cmake
| Configuring the build directory with CMake version 4.4.0
Moved pass the failure point on Aug 5 (but failed later on unrelated point as reported and fixed in this PR #50781 (comment)) cmake 4.4.2 hc85cc9f_0 conda-forge Run-time dependency azure-core-cpp (modules: Azure::azure-core) found: YES 1.16.3

I am unsure what to do with this one.

Newer CMake/Meson may fix this. Related issues:

This got fixed both ways:
with mesonbuild/meson@4e1e74b
with CMake - Restore toleration of toolchain file setting internal variable
Failure log of Aug 4:
