Folkctl is a CLI tool for finding and copying national identity numbers (fødselsnummer) for BankID test users that also exist in the Norwegian National Population Register (DSF) test database.
This project is the CLI tool for the Folkomaten project.
- Search for users in the Folkctl default database.
- Copy the fødselsnummer to the clipboard.
- Copy the name to the clipboard.
- Copy the all information to the clipboard.
- Open your own users database file (comma separated values) using the
--fileflag. - Change the default database file using the
--databaseflag.
The app supports both UTF-16 (as used by BankID Preprod when generating the files) and UTF-8 (as the default database file). The national identity numbers are synthetic and do not belong to any real individuals.

Before starting, make sure Go is installed on your system.
