Landing 1 of 3 in the owner-approved plan to land the sources that records on main depend on (amaybaum, Claude Code session chat, 2026-11-04: "Land the missing sources", then "Approve all three"). It follows the read-only §A.42 compliance check of the nine PRs merged during PR-AUDIT-1 (#1088).

What it does. Three ordinary merge commits on a branch from main 9d022a65:

Merge Second parent Source
216ea299 af1e9be2 #1023's head (MR-1 stage 1), 18 commits
b4a1024f 99dce4b6 #1022's head (PC-1 stage 2), 17 commits
5db1c696 947761dd #1011's head (SUBSTATE-2 / F2-1), 53 commits

Why. These records on main rely on commits that are reachable only from closed PRs' kept branches. §A.42 item 3 requires a commit offered as support to be reachable from main.

Stage 1 under the frozen preregistration at 1a236f3, PR #1023 comment
6549252522 (amaybaum, OWNER): literature-first, paper-only. Adds
amendments/stage1-log.json only; the preregistration is unchanged.

Gates: Catani et al. PRL 129, 240401 (2022) MET; Mazurek et al. 2016
MET; Kochen-Specker 1967 NOT-MET (access: pp. 59-68 of 59-87). K-star,
including the CC2 instance, is blocked pending PR #1023 comment
6549290592. Disagreements with the frozen text are logged as scope
caveats; none contradicts a load-bearing assumption.

Declared final run 9: artifact_placement_check OK; lean_manuscript_census
OK; SC-42 PASS with 0 added-text hits; empty diff of the preregistration
against 1a236f3.

…2) and readings LIT-4/LIT-5

Owner Option 2, PR #1023 comment 6553497955. Adds amendments/
KS-substitution.md (append-only) and appends LIT-4 (Bell 1966) and LIT-5
(Mermin 1993) to amendments/stage1-log.json; LIT-1 to LIT-3 keep their
values (one syntactic comma added after run 9). The preregistration is
unchanged at 1a236f3.

Bell 1966 gate MET (CC2-instance role); Mermin 1993 MET for the corrected
arXiv text, errata text not obtained: the finite-square claim and its
finite-menu use rest on Mermin alone and are blocked. Neither source
supplies the disturbing-marker extension; the concrete CC2 construction is
not established; K-star stays blocked. No CC2 construction is proposed.

Declared run 14: artifact_placement_check OK; lean_manuscript_census OK;
SC-42 PASS with 0 added-text hits; empty diff of the preregistration
against 1a236f3.

…KS substitution (appended)

Independent review of da558a8, ACCEPT WITH CHANGES. Corrections appended,
no existing line changed: stage1-log.json gains top-level "corrections"
(REV-1 to REV-7) and "corrections_runs"; KS-substitution.md gains section 7.
REV-1 LIT-5 gate MET -> PARTIAL (errata unread; referred to owner);
REV-2 finite-Lambda caveat for the PRL bound; REV-3 Bell models psi-ontic,
not CC8-kind; REV-4 product rule and U3 agreement added to the Mermin-only
list; REV-5 to REV-7 paraphrased regexes, SC-42 scope (JSON never
scanned), readers and computation-statement dating.

Declared run 17: artifact_placement_check OK; lean_manuscript_census OK;
SC-42 PASS with 0 added-text hits (covers KS-substitution.md, not the
JSON); empty diff of the preregistration against 1a236f3; diff has 0

Adds amendments/MR-star.md with section K★ only, and appends a
"kstar_step" record to amendments/stage1-log.json.

Outcome: K★ is blocked. The CC2 instance cannot be constructed from
the available first-hand sources without an arbitrary choice. The
Kochen–Specker literature gate stays unresolved, and no candidate
screen starts. The CC2 row, the CC2-instance rule, the nonclassicality
criterion and tokens 2.4/2.5 are unchanged.

Missing elements:
- M1 (decisive): selection within the K1 class. K1 fixes only φ, and
  every instance is an interface of 𝔐★'s type.
- M2: disturbing readout, unsourced.
- M3: disturbing marker, unsourced.
- M4: finite-menu Kochen–Specker certification. It is blocked because
  the Mermin errata and Kochen–Specker 1967 pp. 69–87 are unread.

Membership reading: only K1 qualifies at D. It is not frozen.

No computation evaluating any physical, candidate, control or
algebraic quantity was run. No candidate was looked at or derived.

Final hygiene on the staged content (run K2 declared in the log):
- artifact_placement_check: OK, exit 0
- lean_manuscript_census: OK, exit 0
- SC-42: PASS, added-text scan 0 hits, exit 0
- preregistration diff vs 1a236f3: empty
- only deleted line vs HEAD: the "]" that gains its trailing comma in
  stage1-log.json

Appends section K★.11 to amendments/MR-star.md and a
"kstar_corrections" record to amendments/stage1-log.json. These answer
the independent review of 3d47593 (accept with changes). The section
is K★.11 because K★.9 already exists.

All seven items were checked and applied:
- RC-1: M1 rests solely on the absence of an OI-held selection or
  justification; the ordering sentence is withdrawn.
- RC-2: on the K1 route, M2 and M3 reduce to M1.
- RC-3: (c-iv) is a proposed reading for the owner, and the KS versus
  generalized-noncontextuality conflation is withdrawn.
- RC-4: the native step is φ(u_prev,u) = (u, Au − u_prev); ψ is its
  inverse (PC★2a).
- RC-5: "two inequivalent members" holds on the invariance leg only.
- RC-6: Main:488 needs finite S (Main:62); ℤ_p and ℝ/ℤ are noted.
- RC-7: D3 removes only the instance obligation; the 2.5 ceiling is
  already frozen.

K★ stays blocked, on M1.

Final hygiene (run K4):
- placement: OK, exit 0
- census: OK, exit 0
- SC-42: PASS, 0 hits, exit 0
- preregistration diff vs 1a236f3: empty
- 0 deleted lines

No computation was run.

…ata provenance

Owner decisions, PR #1023 comment 6554185786.

D3 (new amendments/D3-CC2-class-level.md) explicitly changes the
frozen CC2-instance requirement of 1a236f3, which stays unchanged on
disk. Under D3:
- no CC2 instance is fixed, and CC2 is kept at class level, using the
  L569 description unrestricted;
- CC2 is not executed, and its separation fields are fixed to "not
  separated";
- token 2.4 is unavailable;
- 2.5 is retained with CC2-unseparated and CC8-unseparated.

Frozen lines changed or set aside: L561-564; L569 col. 4; L551-557
and L675-676 (for CC2); L529-533 and L620; L713 (2.4 self-test becomes
an unreachability check); L661-664. L668-672, L714, L744-748 and L758
are retained and bind no step for CC2.

K★ under D3 would be {K1}, with CC2 at class level. It is not frozen;
that is a separate owner decision.

Errata (stage1-log.json lit5_errata / LIT-5-ERRATA with REV-8;
KS-substitution.md §8): there are three notices (RMP 85, 919; 88,
039902; 89, 049901), and none was obtained first-hand. The owner's
summary is recorded as owner provenance. E2 is consistent with the
arXiv text; E1 and E3 are unmapped. LIT-5 stays PARTIAL. No step under
D3 depends on a Mermin-only claim.

Final hygiene (run D-2):
- placement: OK, exit 0
- census: OK, exit 0
- SC-42: PASS, 0 hits, exit 0
- preregistration diff vs 1a236f3: empty
- 0 deleted lines

No computation was run.

…pended)

Answers the independent review of 987ecf5 (accept with changes). All
four items were checked and applied, append-only.

- Should-fix: D3-CC2-class-level.md gains §D3.9, C-8. It quotes frozen
  L45-47 (outcome (2)) and L613 (the axis-2 heading) exactly. They
  stand as labels only; their strongest token under D3 is 2.5
  CONTEXTUAL, and 2.4 is unreachable.
- MR-star.md gains §K★.12, with pointers to D3 (K★ would be {K1},
  with CC2 at class level, and is not frozen) and to REV-8 (three
  errata).
- KS-substitution.md §8 and REV-9: the owner's first-hand read
  requirement remains open, and LIT-5 stays PARTIAL until it is met.
- REV-10: the arXiv locations for E1 and E3 are the reader's
  inference, not a mapping.

Final hygiene (run E-2):
- placement: OK, exit 0
- census: OK, exit 0
- SC-42: PASS, 0 hits, exit 0
- preregistration diff vs 1a236f3: empty
- 0 deleted lines

No computation was run.

…er decision)

Owner decision, PR #1023 comment 6554399670.

Conditions, verified by read-only connector calls:
- CI run 41279841361 concluded success on head_sha dbf78a8.
- The PR head is dbf78a8, the reviewed commit, and the D3 amendment
  is unchanged.

Appends MR-star.md §K★.F and a stage1-log.json "kstar_freeze" record:
- K★ = {K1}, quoting frozen L330-331. The native step is
  φ(u_prev,u) = (u, Au − u_prev), per PC★2a at 99dce4b. It is one
  fixed bijection, not a per-law construction.
- π and μ range over their admissible classes (L358-359).
- K2-K6 are excluded: Main:414, Main:62/560, Main:566 (3), Main:486,
  and no budget in Main.
- CC2 is at class level per D3; 2.4 is unreachable; 2.5 is the ceiling.
- The freeze precedes any candidate law (0(iii), 0(vi), L712). The
  paper-only screen is next and is not started here.

Final hygiene (run F-2):
- placement: OK, exit 0
- census: OK, exit 0
- SC-42: PASS, 0 hits, exit 0
- preregistration diff vs 1a236f3: empty
- 0 deleted lines

No computation was run.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_013T6pfKuv5mi3MXtKjH2tZb
Appends a note to MR-star.md §K★.F. The sentence "any change to K★ after
this commit, before or after any outcome, voids the run under 0(iii)"
cites 0(iii) for more than it says: frozen 0(iii) (L594-596) voids K★
changed after any outcome, or fixed after any candidate law. The stricter
rule is restated as this freeze's own commitment. The same reading applies
to the next bullet and to the append-only mirror in stage1-log.json
(kstar_freeze.hard_to_vary), which is not edited. K★ = {K1} is unchanged.

Hygiene on the staged note (run N-1): artifact_placement_check exit 0, OK
(95 names permitted, self-test passed); lean_manuscript_census exit 0, OK;
SC-42 exit 0, verdict PASS, added-text scan 0 hits. Frozen preregistration
diff from 1a236f3: empty. Deleted lines in the staged diff: 0. No
computation; no Python except the three hygiene tools.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_013T6pfKuv5mi3MXtKjH2tZb
Appends MR-star.md §S, the paper-only structural screen under the frozen
§3-§7, D3 and K★ = {K1}. It derives no record law, evaluates no test or
control, and freezes nothing for stage 2 (that is §M, next commit).

Lemmas proved on paper for the frozen additive K1 step:
- S-L1/S-C1, superposition: no region's state alters another's transfer,
  so there is no setting that selects an operation, no adaptive operation
  and no marker back-action;
- S-L3: psi = sigma phi sigma, and sigma is no time shift, so the inverse
  is representable but not available;
- S-L4, no confinement: no nonzero solution stays in a slab of width w
  for 2w+1 slices (a injective);
- S-C4a: no confined pointer;
- S-C4b: conserved linear quantities are global;
- S-L5: marking is non-invasive;
- S-L6: budgets lie below recurrence;
- S-L7: the AW-MR5 epistemic-restriction sub-question, answered
  conditionally on the access.

Sources considered: sigma1-sigma13. sigma1 (native transport), the one
native source with content, is called G, with the apparatus pointer
unsourced. The rest fold into sigma1, are excluded (not the K1 step, not
available, not embedded, per-law or per-design), are outside K★ (the
non-additive rules), or are respected as prior negatives. Q is not
supplied for any K1 source. The selection rule (S.5) selects none.

Gem-finding: AW-MR8 (NEW), a free substratum under A5 with M = mu I
supplies no interaction, so MR-1's "microscopic interaction" presupposes
one. AW-MR9 (NEW), stable matter (E6) has no substratum carrier under A5.
AW-MR10-12 are ELABORATING.

Hygiene on the staged section (run S-1): artifact_placement_check exit 0,
OK (95 names permitted, self-test passed); lean_manuscript_census exit 0,
OK; SC-42 exit 0, verdict PASS, added-text scan 0 hits. Frozen
preregistration diff from 1a236f3: empty. Deleted lines in the staged
diff: 0. Local-path grep: none. No computation; no Python except the
three hygiene tools.

Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_013T6pfKuv5mi3MXtKjH2tZb
Appends MR-star.md §M and two records to stage1-log.json: screen (for
f1eb719, with the K★.F note's run N-1) and mstar_or_gap.

Axis-1 token: frozen §6 row 1.1 GAP; owner classification (G).
- Named element: §3.1 S_A, an apparatus pointer (a subsystem holding a
  record, R2, under the native step by an executing apparatus process,
  with its ready supply).
- Also unsourced: an operation-selecting Z; a clock or ledger L; any
  subsystem inverse.
- Scope: K★ = {K1} as frozen (free additive step, native cubic graph,
  injective coefficient); bounded-diameter observer; budget below
  recurrence; sources sigma1-sigma13.
- Not a no-go. No claim that classical explanations are excluded (D3).
- Axis 2: 2.1 NOT-REACHED. Axis 3: 3.1 NOT-REACHED. Track: P.1 NONE.

Standing: the token stands only if a controls-only stage 2 (separate owner
gate) returns every reference; otherwise VOID under 0(i).

Hypothesis, not a result: G stands, and stage 2 can establish neither R
nor Q.

Stage-2 interface frozen (controls only):
- arithmetic exact in Q(sqrt2);
- Acc_ctrl, with settings in a program register and model-level
  certificates;
- PC-Q closed forms B-T0..B-T7, derived on paper;
- countercontrols CC1, CC3, CC4, CC5, CC7, with Lemma G (GNC, proved on
  paper); CC6, CC8, and CC2 at class level;
- the T0-T7 protocol list;
- T7 as V+P<=1 under the LIT-1/LIT-2 caveats, with Eqs. (10)-(11)
  checked before use (otherwise halt);
- T8 deletions and the T9 audit;
- ten mutations mapped to checkpoints, plus CP-SELFTEST-2.4;
- results schema mr1-stage2-controls-results v1 and the decision
  function;
- the §A.41 invariant table.

Hygiene, final run M-2 on the staged content: artifact_placement_check exit
0, OK (95 names permitted, self-test passed); lean_manuscript_census exit 0,
OK; SC-42 exit 0, verdict PASS, added-text scan 0 hits (covers MR-star.md,
not the JSON). Frozen preregistration diff from 1a236f3: empty. Deleted
lines in the staged diff: 0. Local-path grep of both files: none. No
computation; no Python except the three hygiene tools.

Appends MR-star.md §C (corrections C-1 to C-15) and a screen_corrections
record (REV-11 to REV-23) to stage1-log.json, under the owner's approval in
PR #1023 comment 6555028014. fc68d33 is kept as written. All twelve review
items were checked by the writer and applied; none was rejected.

- C-1: linearity is proved for the frozen step; that it is the physics is a
  posit (Main ledger (vii); Substratum A5, conditional on amplitude-scale
  gauge, an open step).
- C-2: localized-record impossibility withdrawn. Wakes are a counterexample
  (checked on paper). S-C4a is withdrawn as a ground, and §S.4(a) reason 2
  is withdrawn.
- C-3: the GAP element becomes the absence of a physically sourced quiet,
  ready region (Res; mu leg), with the owner's two caveats. The §M.3 routes
  gain a sourced ready supply.
- C-4: the trace route is UNDECIDED.
- C-5: the "executing apparatus process distinct from transport" criterion
  is withdrawn and §S.5 (s2)/(s4) restated. sigma1: R = G, Q = G.
- C-6, C-7: AW-MR8 and AW-MR9 scoped to the K1 step / K★ = {K1}; the
  SM:428 reading is corrected.
- C-8: CC1/3/5/7 T7 reference pinned as T7-UNCERTIFIED.
- C-9 to C-12: S-L5 wording; 2w+2; the cylinder torus lift; S-L4 for clocks.
- C-13: consequential changes.

Token unchanged: 1.1 GAP, class G. Not a no-go.

Hygiene, final run C-2: artifact_placement_check exit 0, OK;
lean_manuscript_census exit 0, OK; SC-42 verdict PASS, added-text scan 0
hits. Preregistration diff from 1a236f3: empty. Deleted lines: 0. No

Appends MR-star.md §C.1 and a screen_corrections_rereview record (REV-24 to
REV-26) to stage1-log.json, following the re-review of c744d3b (ACCEPT
WITH CHANGES):

- C.1-1: two negative claims (C-3; C-13/AW-MR10) are scoped to "the sources
  read (§S.8)" (§A.19).
- C.1-2: C-5's (s2) is grounded in the frozen §3.1 mu clause (L137-140,
  quoted).
- C.1-3: C-2's wake carries C-3's caveat: retained information, not yet a
  record.

Token unchanged: 1.1 GAP, class G.
