Hi, I'm Adnan

Software Engineer at Odoo R&D | Backend Systems | ERP & Product Engineering

I'm a backend-focused software engineer based in Dubai, currently working at Odoo R&D. My work and interests sit around ERP systems, localization, product architecture, developer tooling, and scalable backend systems.

My GitHub is not a perfectly polished portfolio. It is a mix of real projects, learning notes, experiments, old robotics work, system design practice, and small tools I build when I need them.

Before backend engineering, I founded BRACU Duburi, an autonomous underwater vehicle team, and created technical tutorials for Bangla-speaking developers. That background still shapes how I learn, explain, debug, and build.

What I Usually Explore

  • Backend engineering, system design, and practical problem-solving
  • ERP, SaaS platforms, and product architecture
  • Odoo development and localization
  • Developer tools and automation
  • Cybersecurity fundamentals and performance testing
  • Robotics, teaching, and hands-on engineering

Current Focus

  • Building product-driven backend systems
  • Improving my understanding of large ERP architectures
  • Writing more technical notes and blogs
  • Building useful small tools with AI-assisted workflows

Selected Public Footprint

  • Software Engineer at Odoo R&D
  • Founding Team Lead of BRACU Duburi, an autonomous underwater vehicle team
  • Created long-form technical tutorials for Bangla-speaking developers
  • Exploring cybersecurity fundamentals through hands-on labs and notes
  • Building small tools to solve practical day-to-day engineering problems

🏭 Production Contributions

I work at Odoo R&D. Odoo development happens through reviewed pull requests to Odoo's public repositories.

My day-job Odoo contributions are associated with my Odoo development account: @adns-odoo.

This work is primarily around ERP localization, e-invoicing, compliance flows, production business logic, bug fixes, and Odoo module development.
