The field under the greeting read as the main thing on the page: 480px, 44px high, a border. It is now a narrow pill - 220px, 32px high, a soft fill and no border, muted type, the shortcut as plain letters - and only shows an edge when the reader is in it. The placeholder is just "Search". --softcolour token (light and dark)Position, behaviour and results are unchanged. On a phone the pill sits under the greeting as before.
