Release 3.0.2 was published from
codex/bounded-mxf-readerwhilemainremained at 3.0.1. This PR brings the two existing release commits intomainand makes the release workflow fetchmainand reject tags whose commits are outside its history. The release checklist now requires merging before tagging.Merge with a merge commit to preserve the existing 3.0.2 tag's commit ancestry.
Validation: exercised the exact workflow guard against temporary Git repositories: accepts a tag on main, rejects an unmerged release tag, accepts it after merging, and accepts an older tag in main's history.
Scripts/verify-release.sh 3.0.2passed: 1,674 library tests (21 skipped, zero failures), 50 CLI tests, release archive contents/version/checksum, and bundled geolocation smoke test. PR CI also covers the iOS build.
