The 2026-06-03 foundry nightly (389b5e3b) hangs the Anvil-backed payment tests in CI; the suite passes locally against both anvil 0.2.0 and stable v1.7.1. Nightly was a moving target left over from foundry's pre-1.0 era — pin the tested stable release in both CI and the pre-publish test gate so runs are reproducible. A pinned version also skips foundryup's latest-tag GitHub API lookup, which was rate-limited (403) on the macos runner. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
