Problem: apps/desktop/build/ (entitlements.mac.plist and icon.png) was deleted by accident in an unrelated change after v1.6.0. Both mac legs of the v1.6.1 desktop build failed at codesign with cannot read entitlement data; the release job never ran.
Fix: restore the directory exactly as it was at v1.6.0.
Testing: build-time input only, exercised by the desktop publish workflow; the v1.6.1 desktop build will be re-dispatched after this merges.
