Background

Closes #1422. Functions declared as function name { ran without their annotations and were missing from the header count. Every scanner now recognizes that documented form.

Changes

  • Preserve provider, skip, timeout, retry and tag metadata for functions without parentheses.
  • Count mixed declaration styles and detect duplicate names, including comment and subshell bodies.
  • Keep bare words out of function maps and preserve dynamic-file detection.
  • Verified 157 focused cases including process budgets, 137 strict cases, 137 cases on Bash 3.0, ShellCheck and formatting.

Checklist

  • I updated the CHANGELOG.md to reflect the new feature or fix
  • I updated the documentation to reflect the changes (the existing guide already describes this form)
