docs: correct seven statements that disagree with v0.15.0 - #700
Corrects seven places where DOCUMENTATION.md / README.md disagree with the v0.15.0 code. Each one would mislead someone copying the example or scripting against the output. Docs only; no code change.
test create --plan-from … --project <id> (and --type)
With --plan-from, --project/--type are ignored and projectId comes from the JSON (test.ts ~14505 help text, ~14605, ~3531, ~3798). Following the local-project recipe created the test in the plan's sample project, or failed with exit 5 if the plan had none. The examples and refusal guidance now say to set projectId in the plan (first-suite-hint.ts ~104–108); the remaining create recipe also drops the ignored --type.
2
DOCUMENTATION ~879, README ~195
"Frontend test — verbatim replay": test rerun <id> --wait
FE auto-heal is on by default (--no-auto-heal help text; autoHeal: cmdOpts.autoHeal !== false, ~15689). The example now passes --no-auto-heal; the README row states the default.
3
DOCUMENTATION ~297 (test result)
summary counts (passed / failed / skipped), runId
CliLatestResult has a summarystring, runIdIfAvailable, and separate verdict / executionStatus (test.ts ~387–435; dry-run/samples.ts ~338).
4
DOCUMENTATION ~1161, ~1210
Both finished workflow shapes use job id gate
ci init emits testsprite-tests (ci.ts ~321, snapshots), which is the check the branch-protection paragraph (~1267) tells you to require. A copied shape produced a check named gate.
5
DOCUMENTATION ~1355
TESTSPRITE_NO_SKILL_WARNING: "Any non-empty value silences …"
isTruthyEnv (skill-nudge.ts ~235) treats blank, 0, false, no (trimmed, any case) as off.
6
DOCUMENTATION ~1488 (ci run)
"Skipped tests are currently omitted from JUnit"
They are written as <skipped> testcases with their reasons (test.ts ~9862, junit-report.ts ~205/~260), as ~1126 already says.
7
DOCUMENTATION ~1364, ~1400 (Telemetry)
outcome success/error/abort is sent; the interruption rule omits SIGHUP
Aborts (Ctrl-C / SIGTERM / SIGHUP) are deliberately not reported (telemetry.ts ~505/~670, covered by telemetry.spec.ts); SIGHUP reaches the same abort path (interrupt.ts ~150/~281, index.ts ~379/~399). The interruption rule now names it.

Type of change
Bug fix (non-breaking change that fixes an issue)
New feature (non-breaking change that adds functionality)
Breaking change (fix or feature that changes existing behavior)
npm test passes and coverage stays at or above the 80% gate.
npm run typecheck passes.
New behavior is covered by unit tests (mock-based; no network or
credentials required).
No secrets, API keys, internal endpoints, or personal data are included.
User-facing changes are reflected in README.md / DOCUMENTATION.md where
relevant.
Notes for reviewers
Every row was checked against the code and, where relevant, real --help output from a local build. The specs covering these paths pass unchanged (runCreateFromPlan cases in test.test.ts, test.rerun.spec.ts, test.result.history.spec.ts, ci.spec.ts, skill-nudge.test.ts, junit-report.test.ts, telemetry.spec.ts).
prettier --check README.md DOCUMENTATION.md passes. The only reformatting is the padding on the two edited table rows.
No CHANGELOG.md entry, following recent docs-only commits (ea4efa3, 9a8a5cd).
One related code bug found on the way, not fixed here: test create --plan-template --env staging fails with exit 5 ("--env requires --run") although --plan-template is documented to ignore every other flag (DOCUMENTATION ~385). The --env guard runs before the template early return (test.ts ~14560 vs ~14566).
- --plan-from recipes passed --project/--type, which the plan-file path
ignores; say to set projectId in the plan JSON instead.
- The "verbatim replay" rerun example omitted --no-auto-heal (FE
auto-heal is on by default); same for the README command table.
- test result: the latest-result object has a summary string,
runIdIfAvailable, verdict and executionStatus, not counts and runId.
- Both finished CI workflow shapes used job id `gate`; ci init and the
branch-protection guidance use `testsprite-tests`.
- TESTSPRITE_NO_SKILL_WARNING: blank, 0, false and no keep the reminder.
- ci run JUnit includes skipped tests as <skipped> testcases.
- Telemetry: interrupted commands send no event.

Walkthrough
README.md and DOCUMENTATION.md update plan examples, rerun options, result and telemetry descriptions, CI workflow examples, and JUnit skipped-test guidance.

Summary
Plan examples and rerun options README.md, DOCUMENTATION.md
Examples set projectId in plan files instead of passing --project to test create. Frontend examples omit --type frontend. The rerun description says auto-heal is enabled by default and --no-auto-heal selects verbatim replay.
Result and telemetry descriptions DOCUMENTATION.md
The documented latest-result fields include verdict and executionStatus, and use runIdIfAvailable instead of runId. The skill-warning opt-out and telemetry descriptions specify updated values and interruption behavior.
CI examples and JUnit results DOCUMENTATION.md
Workflow examples rename the job to testsprite-tests. The JUnit guidance says skipped tests are included with their reasons.
The updated documentation matches the checked CLI behavior, and no outstanding issue blocks merging.

Remove plan-owned flags from the remaining example.
--plan-from owns projectId, type, and name. The CLI ignores overlapping --project, --type, and --name flags. This example still passes --type frontend, and Line 490 still passes --project. Remove both flags so all plan examples document the same contract. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

--no-auto-heal only requests strict replay. An older server may ignore it, and reruns do not echo the effective decision. Auto-healing can therefore still re-author and replace the stored test. The code block label should not present verbatim replay as guaranteed.

@coderabbitai Fixed the outside-diff note at DOCUMENTATION.md:878 in 74c8f9e. The example label now reads "ask for a verbatim replay", which matches the --no-auto-heal entry: a rerun gets no echo of the effective decision, so replay is requested, not guaranteed. The command is unchanged.

@mai1015 Confirmed that DOCUMENTATION.md, Line 878 now says “ask for a verbatim replay.” This matches the --no-auto-heal entry: the flag requests replay but does not guarantee it. This addresses the documentation concern.
