fix(cli): keep a failing exit code when stdout's reader closes early - #631

WalkthroughThe broken-pipe guard no longer exits immediately with code 0 when stdout emits EPIPE in a disarmed scope. It waits for a 3-second unref’ed backstop, then uses the current numeric exit code or defaults to 0. Armed scopes retain coordinated shutdown. ChangesEPIPE exit-code handling

The armed test does not exercise a command-level wait or observe the final exit status. It only verifies that the guard requests shutdown.
Use an armed local/tunnel

What does this PR do?
Describe the changes: a failing verdict now survives stdout EPIPE instead of being forced to exit 0.
Design. The guard can't see the verdict, and index.ts sets
process.exitCodeonly after an async telemetry flush, so any exit taken inside the guard races it. The disarmed branch therefore no longer exits. It lets the command settle; when the event loop drains, the process exits with whatever code index.ts set. That is 1 for a failed run, and 0 (not 141) for a clean result. It also arms one unref'd backstop (
INTERRUPT_EXIT_BACKSTOP_MS, 3 s, above the 1 s telemetry bound). The backstop fires only if something keeps the process alive, such as an idle prompt or a stdoutdrainthat never comes. It then exits with the code set so far, falling back to 0.The armed branch is unchanged.
brokenPipe()still aborts through the shutdown signal, so a command that is still polling stops promptly and tunnel teardown runs. A verdict thrown after that, like the tunnel run'sCLIError, still owns the exit code; a new test pins this.Changes are limited to
interrupt.ts. No command implementation, exit-code value, flag or dependency changes.Related issue
