The --run JSON output now includes per-spec creation results and the summary on normal completion. If a run is interrupted or the tunnel detaches, the partial JSON output still omits the creation receipt. Automation therefore loses creation-failure details in that case. This is a small, bounded gap that is worth fixing, but it does not block merging.

Explanation

The supplied whole-PR summary reports one additive change in src/commands/test.ts: JSON --run output adds the original creation receipt under creation. It preserves text-mode output and run results. This change directly implements issue #483 and shows no unrelated product change.

Full details: Linked Issues check

Explanation

Issue #483 requires the --run --output json and --run --wait --output json envelopes to preserve per-spec creation results and the aggregate summary while retaining run results and the existing exit policy. The supplied PR summary states that runBatchRun now adds creation with the original results and summary, and that text output is unchanged. However, the whole-PR summary lists only src/commands/test.ts as changed. It provides no new automated coverage for partial creation success, all creation success, all creation failure, execution failure, or interruption output. Existing test evidence shown does not assert the new creation field.

Resolution

Add automated tests for the required JSON scenarios. Assert creation.results preserves each specIndex, status, and error, assert creation.summary, retain execution results, and verify the existing exit behavior for partial creation and execution outcomes.

Include the creation receipt in partial JSON output.

The interrupt and tunnel-detach path prints { results: partialResults } and bypasses this final envelope. JSON consumers then lose the per-spec creation failures while some runs are running or not_dispatched. Add the same creation object to this partial envelope.

As per path instructions: “Batch execution outcomes and partial/non-dispatched cases must remain visible to automation.”

Update the partial-results output in the interrupt and tunnel-detach path around
out.print so the JSON envelope includes the same creation object as the final
output, preserving creation failures alongside partial test results and
non-dispatched or running statuses.
