feat(cli): show command suggestions for unknown commands #544

Closed as not planned

Description

@Lexiie

Enable Commander's built-in 'did you mean' suggestions for unknown commands and options, so a typo like testsprite tst prints (Did you mean test?) instead of only error: unknown command 'tst'. Improves ergonomics for humans and agents without changing exit codes (still 5). Scope: program.showSuggestionAfterError() applied to the whole command tree.

This is a new improvement not previously tracked.

    Thanks for the interest, @Lexiie! This issue hasn't been accepted for implementation yet — see the triage comment (a maintainer will label it accepted once it is). Feel free to check back, or ping us on Discord if it's been quiet.

    Thanks — the suggestion is right and the shape (showSuggestionAfterError, applied to every subcommand, exit code unchanged) is what we'd do. We're in the middle of rewriting the CLI's command surface, though, and the suggestion is most useful once the new command names are in place, so we'll turn it on there ourselves rather than take it against the current tree. Closing this and #545; appreciate the PR.
