Widens the pylibsparseir range from >=0.8.3,<0.11.0 to >=0.8.3,<0.13.0, in both pyproject.toml and .conda/meta.yaml (check_libsparseir_version_consistency.py passes). It also bumps the version to 2.1.6. No public API changed.

Why the range can be widened

Between v0.10.0 and v0.12.0 the C header only adds declarations: spir_dlr_new_independent, the MiniPole functions and the spir_pole_repr handle. No declaration is removed or changed. The existing ctypes call sites are therefore unaffected.

The 0.12.0 backend changes only the default DLR accuracy of the independent DLR constructor (SpM-lab/sparse-ir-rs#324). This wrapper does not use that constructor.

Tests (uv run --with pylibsparseir==V pytest tests/ -q)

pylibsparseir result
0.8.3 350 passed, 5 xfailed, 1 failed (test_boundary.py::test_c_library_failure_surfaces_as_exception)
0.9.1 351 passed, 5 xfailed
0.10.0 356 passed
0.12.0 356 passed

The 0.8.3 failure does not come from this PR: 0.8.3 is already inside the current range, and nothing in the wrapper code changes here.

For the author

  • Consider raising the floor above 0.8.3 in a later release, given that boundary-test failure.

After merge: tag v2.1.6 on the merge commit. The tag starts wheel.yml (PyPI) and conda.yml.

Widen the pylibsparseir range from <0.11.0 to <0.13.0 in pyproject.toml
and .conda/meta.yaml. The C API of 0.11 and 0.12 only adds declarations
(independent DLR, MiniPole, spir_pole_repr) relative to 0.10, so the
existing ctypes calls are unchanged. No public API changed.
