Changes

  • src/history_comparison.md: the one-line QTT bullet becomes a "2023: quantics tensor trains" subsection:
    • the multiscale space-time ansatz of PRX 13, 021015 (2023)
    • it applies to general space-time dependence (momentum, real-time/nonequilibrium, two-particle functions), not only to the analytic-continuation kernel
    • it contains the sum-of-exponentials (DLR) form: a single exponential is a bond-dimension-1 tensor train (Eq. 14 of the paper), so N_P exponentials need bond dimension ≤ N_P
    • it is less compact than IR/DLR for 1P imaginary-time functions but generalizes to higher dimensions (paper, Sec. IV)
  • index.md: links the history and comparison page, so it can be found from the top page.

Local jupyter book build succeeds; the only warning (README.md not in a toctree) predates this PR. Merging deploys the site.

The inbound links from the library docs are SpM-lab/sparse-ir-rs#318, SpM-lab/sparse-ir#91 and SpM-lab/SparseIR.jl#163.

- New "2023: quantics tensor trains" subsection: multiscale space-time
ansatz (PRX 13, 021015), general space-time dependence, and the fact
that it contains the sum-of-exponentials (DLR) form, since a single
exponential is a bond-dimension-1 tensor train (Eq. 14 of the paper)
- index.md links to the history and comparison page
